The City of Guelph is committed to being open, accessible, and transparent while protecting the privacy of individuals. Our practices have been designed to ensure compliance with the privacy provisions of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

Personal information

We do not automatically collect any personal information about visitors who simply browse the Community Plan website or download information from it. We only collect personal information when you voluntarily provide it to us for a specific purpose (e.g. you send us an email, complete a survey, or register for an event).

Tracking your website visit

Our web server logs visitor activity to help manage the website. Information stored in logs does not include information that identifies you personally (e.g. name, address, email address, or phone number).
